A great many people enjoy the outdoor experience, but some folks feel it far more deeply than others. For them being outside is more than simply fun; it’s essential to their well-being. They dream of gliding a canoe down a misty morning river, or hiking up a trail through the winding woods, or casting a fly to a rising rainbow trout, or sitting at a campfire staring at the stars. They just can’t get the outdoors out of their blood. And because of that love for nature, sooner or later they often want to do one more thing; they want to write down their experiences.

If you’re one of these special people, then this weekend workshop is for you. Writers on all levels are welcome. All you need is a desire to improve your outdoor writing skills. You want to also consider taking my Digital Outdoor Photography Workshop

Workshop Description

This Workshop will provide an intensive learning environment; one that is not only supportive and informative, but designed to strengthen your writer’s spirit. Together we will explore the key elements behind success, including how to come up with imaginative story ideas; how to develop your writer’s voice; how to draw in readers with creative “leads”; how to convey a sense of time and place, and how to increase your chances of getting published. Expect group discussions, personal assignments, and group critiques. Writers on all levels are welcome.

Recommended Essentials: a pencil and notebook, and a laptop with a few blank CD’s
