Private Fly-Fishing Instruction: Fresh or Salt
Want to get started in the sport of fly-fishing? Or perhaps you're interested in improving your present fly-fishing skills. Either way I can help you. Not only do I have extensive experience in both fresh and saltwater fly-fishing, I have been a professional educator nearly all my adult life. So you'll receive clear and concise instruction, the kind that gets results.
The best way to learn fly-fishing is first hand, right on the water. So we'll schedule a trip. For example we could fish a beach while I help you with your casting, or point out how to find bottom structure, how to figure in the tides, the light, the wind, and so on. Or if you prefer, we'll head to a trout stream, where we can discuss the intricacies of presenting a dry fly or how-to work a nymph through a run. It will be both fun and informative.
I have some equipment to loan; ask me about it in advance. Rates don't include meals. For one and two hour casting lessons, I'll ask you to met me near my home. Other instruction will be done at a shoreline location.
Rates: On hour casting lesson ( any level) for one or two anglers $75
Two one-hour casting lessons (any level) for one or two anglers $125
A Half-day (4 hours) of Fly-Fishing instruction for one or two anglers $250
A Full-day (8 Hours) of Fly-fishing instruction for one or two anglers $400
Three half-day sessions (12 hours of instruction) , one or two anglers $600
